“Alien” is a science-fiction horror and action media franchise centered on the film series which depicts warrant officer Ellen Ripley. “Alien” (1979)

The saga begins with the original 1979 film, directed by Ridley Scott. The commercial spaceship Nostromo receives a distress signal from a distant moon. When the crew, including Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), investigates, they discover a derelict alien spacecraft and a vast chamber filled with eggs. One of the crew members, Kane (John Hurt), is attacked by a creature that latches onto his face. Despite efforts to remove it, the creature, known as a “facehugger,” eventually releases Kane, who seems to recover.

However, during a meal, a new horror emerges as a creature bursts from Kane’s chest, growing rapidly into a deadly xenomorph. The crew is picked off one by one by the creature. “Aliens” (1986)

Directed by James Cameron, the sequel “Aliens” ramps up the action and horror. Ripley, having been in stasis for 57 years, is awakened to find that a human colony has been established on the moon LV-426, where the Nostromo first encountered the alien eggs. When contact with the colony is lost, Ripley joins a team of Colonial Marines to investigate.

They discover that the colony has been overrun by xenomorphs, and the marines are quickly overwhelmed. Ripley’s leadership and combat skills come to the forefront as she battles to protect the survivors, including a young girl named Newt. The film climaxes with Ripley confronting the fearsome Alien Queen in a thrilling showdown. Her iconic line, “Get away from her, you bitch!” resonates as she fights to save Newt.
