“Super 8” is a 2011 science fiction thriller film directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg.
The story centers around Joe Lamb (Joel Courtney), a young boy grieving the recent loss of his mother. Joe’s father, Deputy Jackson Lamb (Kyle Chandler), is also struggling to cope with the tragedy while maintaining order in their town.
